About me

How I changed

A few years ago I did not pay any attention to my health. The only thing related to my health that I was interested in, was how I looked. I have never been a skinny girl, so, I was always obsessed with losing weight and looking good. I didn't have to lose much weight, but still. Many diets and workout obsessions later, I found myself in a constant circle of losing weight and quickly gaining it back. This needed to change!

My dad was always really sporty and working out every day (in his 50's!). He always lectured me about the need of working out to be healthy (and not solely to look good). I understood and believed him, but I didn't really follow his advice, until 1,5 year ago. That's when I realized that you don't have to change a lot of your lifestyle to be healthier. We started working out every day for an hour, instead of 2 or 3 times a week (which was always longer than an hour). This showed more effect. I also learned how to eat healthy, without limiting myself (I love chocolate). This lifestyle showed so much benefits and it's much easier to hold on to, rather than extreme dieting and working out.

This blog is based on my personal experiences and tips how to maintain this lifestyle.
